Hot Water Beach Surf School
We pride ourselves on teaching surfing in a fun and supportive way no matter your level! We are a Surfing New Zealand approved surf school with your safety as our priority.
Our surf lessons teach you the skills of surfing with different techniques to get you to your feet or to catch your own green unbroken waves and ride! Shortboard and longboard coaching available with Private one on one or group coaching!
We educate our customers on the wave types, rips & currents and the different levels of surfing - it is our job to help you to understand and enjoy surfing and the ocean!
We are out there in the water by your side keeping you safe, and giving you tips to help you improve.
We supply the very best learner specific boards and warm wetsuits to all our surfers at Hot Water Beach, New Zealand! As you progress we can also supply more advanced surf lessons for the intermediate surfer.

Indemnity - sign form below
In consideration of Hot Water Beach Surf School accepting my application to participate in any coaching activities, below I acknowledge, understand and agree that:
1.Warning: I understand and acknowledge that surf activities are dangerous and there are inherent risks which may result in serious injury to myself. Additionally, waves/ocean can act in a sudden and unpredictable (changeable) way.
2. I declare that I can swim 50 meters (150 feet), or that my child will stay in the water where they can stand up, as instructed by coaches and helpers.
3. I declare that I do not have any fitness, medical or physical conditions that would affect my participation in the activity. (e.g. please advise instructors of asthma, previous broken bones, dislocated joints, diabetes, allergic reactions, wear contact lenses/hearing aids, any disabilities, etc.)
4. I agree not to drink alcohol or take prohibited drugs before or during surf activities.
5. I will at all times comply with the instructions and safety procedures of our staff.
6. I authorize staff to arrange medical or hospital treatment as necessary and I agree to pay for all associated costs.
7. Photographic and or visual images taken by staff of my participation in any coaching activities may be used for general promotion of the organizer's activities. Let us know if you do not agree to this.
8. I understand that the information provided by me in this form is necessary for the operation of any coaching activities. I acknowledge and agree that the information will only be used for the objects of Hot Water Beach Surf School to provide me with information pertaining to any coaching activities. I understand that I will be able to access my information through staff upon request. If the information is not provided I might not be permitted to participate in any coaching activities.
9. Release and Indemnity: I understand that my signature to this document constitutes a complete and unconditional release or all liability of the proprietors of Hot Water Beach Surf School and its employees and agents to the greatest extent allowed by the law in the event of me and/or the children under my care, suffering injury or death.
Note: This form can be used also if your surf lesson location is changed to Pauanui Surf School - when given per permission to do so.
